Doug is no stranger to the panhandle. Born in Alliance, he was raised just a few miles southwest of town. For several years he was heavily involved with the purebred livestock business on a ranch north of Lakeside. Moving West, Doug worked for Addy´s Auctioneers in Casper Wyoming where they specialized in liquidation and appraisal of oil field and restaurant equipment. He then moved on to LaGrand, Oregon where he was employed as an auctioneer and field man for Central Oregon Livestock and Intermountain Livestock. Upon returning to Nebraska, he worked auctions with Doug Garner´s Auctions of Trenton and others prior to founding Alliance Auction Service. Joyce brings with her considerable experience in the retail business. She has worked for some of the major chains and has owned her own business. Her organizational talent and record keeping skills provide stability and integrity. When sales are listed, with ample advance preparation time, items for sale are lot tagged and sold in lot order. Be ready to bid as the auctions move along at a steady pace. Sellers will appreciate prompt and professional handling of their settlement after the sale. Alliance Auction Service and the clerking staff feel the consignor is entitled to full compensation for products sold. Should the buyer attempt to elude payment in anyway, including but not limited to, returned checks, checks on bogus accounts, or contested credit cards, the staff feels it is their responsibility to exhaust all means at their disposal to collect payment for the seller.
